Sonja R. Pfab, owner of Strate Accounting. She has enjoyed accounting since high school. She decided to turn her passion into a career and she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mount Mercy College with a minor in Business Accounting.
From 1990 – 2010, Sonja gained experience in a variety of roles; including Assistant Controller / HR Manager, bookkeeper, accounts payable manager, accounting manager for companies like Allied Glass Products, Lil’ Drug Store Products, LLC., The Ar-Jay Center, Iowa Fluid Power, Dale McGrath Construction, and the Terry Durin Company.
In 2010 she started Pfabio Accounting and Payroll LLC.from her home in Alburnett before moving to a shared office space in Central City. The company, now known as Strate Accounting and Payroll LLC. and is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and has been at its current location on Northland Court for the past three years.
Sonja is a Quickbooks-certified pro advisor, and has been in the “Who is Who of Professional Women”. Sonja is a highly-skilled professional accountant who prioritizes her client’s needs. Sonja believes that in sitting down one-on-one and getting to know her clients to better customize a plan that works for everyone.
